I have a couple events that I want to give you dates for. One is Feb. 19th for a card buffet at VFW in Winooski at 12:30, there will be an email coming out for this soon. There will be more buffets but I gotta find a spot to hold them.
THen I am planning a big event in June. June 30th. THis is going to be good. Its from 9 am to 4 pm and its going to cost $75 per person but you get lunch(buffet style), a stamp set and 4 make n takes and some demonstrations, then you will have a chance to win prizes and the first 15 rsvp's with payment will be getting a special gift from me. We are donating profits to Juvenile Diabetes and will also be doing a raffle to donate the money as well.

Some of you are my friends on facebook and have already seen the photos but I thought I should share them here as well so that everyone could see.
These are the pictures of the Wreath that we did using the Spice cake DSP, Fabric and Buttons along with a few other Stampin Up products. Thanks to my Friend Gayle Bassett who came up with the instructions and shared them with me, She actually came to Vermont from Massachusetts on a snowy weekend and taught me the class so that I could share it with my group. So a big Thanks to Gayle. Here are the photos.......

Betsy thought hers would make a great Easter Bonnet, then she realized it was a wreath. Sharyon Thought it would make a great scrapbook page so she wanted to put her face in it. Gail was just plain tired and was holding hers and the one I did for her Gram, Bea. We laughed so much and had a great time. I wonder how this class is going to go with 8 in attendance at my second group. I'll let you know after its over. I do have one more wreath frame and all of the supplies to make it if you are interested in attending. The class is $30.00 and is on Sunday Feb. 15th at 10 am but call me and I'll let you know if I still have it.

I am getting ready for leadership and am busy creating swaps and contest entries so be sure to come back and look soon. I will be posting photos of a couple of new creations.

Happy Holidays

The holidays are fast approaching. I have been extremely busy with getting all things finished and ready. Finally its almost here and soon I'll be back to business again. I am hoping to post more often, I know I can't keep you as an audience if I dont post regularly. Time will slow down enough for me to post more often right after the holidays.
Remember we have the Wreath class coming up and then I have leadership so those are exciting posts that we are going to share, then I will be starting other classes, events and clubs all over again.

Do you remember that I do a drawing every month on the 24th for the Simply Scored,
Well, it has come and gone for Nov. 24th. It was busy and I just had time to draw. I kept track of all the orders carefully and placed all the tickets in a bowl and drew one name out for this months winner.

This was a gift card holder that I made from the new Stocking Die. Using Four the Holidays Stamp set and the Snow Burst Embossing Folder.

Next we have another gift card holder using the top note die and the stocking punch with Silver glimmer paper and Frostwood lodge DSP.

THis next one is using the Red and the silver Glimmer Paper and the ornament punch with Hand Penned Holidays Stamp set.

This one is using Winter Post stamp set. Soft Suede card stock and Four the Holidays Stamp set. Tulip Embossing folder and 1 1/4' square punch.

Keep in mind that some of these I borrowed and tweaked or even kept the same if I really liked them as is. The 2 gift cards were my own idea but heck those were easy, Stampin Up created the dies and I just created the cards. It was that easy. You can do it to. Come and try it.

This last card was created at my upline meeting Jen Heffernan made this as her make n take, I didnt have the same DSP she had so I used a different color and it still came out as cute.

My cards for the buffet on Oct. 9 were the same as world card making day cards but Mindy's cards are here, and she did one ornament.

Sorry but I cant figure out how to get them going the right direction and I'm too tired right now to delete and correct it.
Then I also took some photos of everyone at work. We had quite the group, it was actually a good time. Thank you everyone that attended.

World Card Making Day Card Buffet

Today was our card buffet at the Hinesburg School it was so fun. I hope all that came enjoyed it. These were the cards we made. Come join us next time. We have one on Oct. 9th at Friendlys at 12:30 and again on Oct. 23rd at Friendlys at noon. Friendlys is the one by Costco.

Anyway, here are the photos.......Remember, These cards are all cased from someone else but I save so many cards from other sources that I dont remember who they belong to, If anyone knows who I would love to give them the credit. Thanks for looking. If I make one myself I will be sure to tell you so, otherwise, they are someone else's creation. Copying is mostly all I have time for. They have mostly been tweaked to our liking but its the thought that its someone else's creation that matters to them.

Class to go

Gwen And I put together a class to go using the stamp set Christmas Lodge and the Frostwood lodge DSP, Our main idea was to use every stamp and all of 6 designs of the paper and we successfully did so. we are going to offer similar classes as often as time allows but for starters this is our first one, it took us awhile but its done. THese are our own creations so I hope to hear that you like them.

Here are the details of what you get......

2 of each cards, cut scored and punched including ribbon, dimensionals and stamps The only thing we are not supplying is the ink but we will tell you the colors so you can get them.
The price of the class is as follows,

For the set including wood mount stamps $44.00

For the set including Clear mount stamps $36.00

If you have the stamp set and would like the card kits then that will be $15.00. If you do the math you are getting a good deal on the stamp sets since we are not even charging shipping and tax this time around. These will be hand delivered to you. However if you live too far away we will ship them to you at cost. We will have to tell you how much it is after we get the product and weigh it.

Christmas Card buffet from last Sunday

Hello again, Just wanted to pop on real quick to show you the cards we made at our last christmas card buffet. It was lots of fun and we have more to come. This first card I already had posted but thought I'd post them all together. This one was one of my cards. I found it somewhere and tweaked it, sorry dont remember where I found it so I can't give credit where credit is due. Just know that I appreciate it.

This next one was actually a card from the holiday section in the main catalog and I tweaked it quite a bit to make it my own. I love how it came out. I sold alot of them so others must have liked it also.

This card I also got from another person, Darn I wish I knew who, I do like to give credit but can't remember because when I'm saving them I dont remember who or where they came from. I did tweak this one too but not by much. Color definitely and placing of ribbon.

This one was one of Sharlene's and the ornament is actually 3 dimensional and very cute. The picture doesnt do it justice. I dont know who she got any of hers from either so I will apologize to them now but thanks for the ideas.

I think this one was her own creation, she used foam for the snowflake and it was lovely. The glimmer brad in the center just added the bling to match the glimmer paper.

I love love love this card, This too was Sharlene found and tweaked it a little. Just might have to make some for my holiday cards this year.

Another fun one, Not sure where she got this but I love it.

This one As soon as I saw it I wanted to make it. I did it almost exactly like the original creator did. Thats how much I liked it. It was sooooo easy too.

Last but not least my peace on earth one that I copied from Robin Merriman and tweked her idea just a little. Hugs Robin. Thanks for sharing.

Today I want to talk about an upcoming project that we have coming up. We are going to do something similar to a class to go, We started working on the cards last night and they are coming out great so far. I am very excited and can't wait to share this idea with you. I just wanted to post that I'm having trouble with my email. They had me shut off again for sending too many at once, UGH. I have to switch email company. So, now I have limited access until tomorrow, My stored addresses are not all in there so if you are interested in attending either event, please email me and let me know. I have one this Saturday at Friendlys in colchester by costco and another one next Saturday the 27th both are at noon and if you didnt get the email just let me know I'll resend it to you.
Both events are card buffets with different cards and with Different consultants doing it with me.

This is one of my cards for the Card buffet this Saturday August 20th at Friendlys in Colchester at noon $5.00 admission and $2.00 per card choosing from 10 cards, choose as many as you wish.

Sharon and I got to walk for our 20,000 in sales. Next year my goal is to do at least 30,000. I'd like more but I'll settle for that. LOL. 30 would just make earning FIJI a little easier. I would love to see Sharon make it with me too. We have both been walking for 20,000 together for at least 3 years now and I think its time we bumped it up a notch. I couldnt do it without all of my customers and hostess/club members. Thank you all for your support over the years and looking forward to many more. Christmas in July card buffet cards

Ok so we held a christmas in July card buffet last weekend and everyone wanted me to post the cards we made. SO, here they are. 3 of them anyway. I will post the others when I get them out. I dont have a copy of Tammys.

These were all Convention Swaps that I received and copied and tweaked. The snow much fun one I didnt change at all. The Gold ornament one was from Amy Celona and I dont remember who the other 2 were from. I love them all though so thanks to the creators.

Hello everyone, Its been awhile but I want to try to start posting regularly. I am going to be doing blog candy within a few days so be sure to come back. Here are some photos from convention , the first photo is of my SAM, Becky and I. she will not be my SAM anymore because the program ended but if I reach exec. then I can get her back with a new program. She has been quite lovely to work with and I will miss her. Hugs Becky.

The next Photo is of My new helper with Stampin Up and his name is Rhett. I ran into him while on my VIP tour of the Stampin Up Facility

He and I have chatted once since then and I think he might be helpful to my business so I'm kind of looking forward to working with him. I am ready to earn FIJI. Thats our next trip to earn and this year its supposed to be easier to earn with the new program. We will soon find out.

The next photo is of the owner of the company, SHELLI GARDNER and I. Shelli came into the VIP room for us to have a photo opportunity with her. I had her sign my binder because I already had her sign my catalog when we got them on the cruise.

Now, speaking of the cruise, the next photo is of Amy and I, Amy is the corporate team member that I got to have dinner with on the cruise. She was quite fun and I was surprised to find out after our dinner that she was pregnant but I couldnt tell then, Now in this picture you can certainly tell.

I happened to turn around and she was standing right there so we were both surprised to see each other. So we took this photo op so that I could show slim how pregnant she is now. LOL

Next, is our fun photos with my new friend, Gail that I met on the cruise.

The others in the photos are my roommate and friend Sharon and Gails friends Christine and Anne. We have all become friends and it was quite fun to hang out with all of them. Convention was so much fun that we can't wait to do it again next year.

Oh and we can't forget our waiter at Olive Garden. He was lots of fun.

July 10th is the next event. This is my customer appreciation event and will be held at Hinesburg Community School at noon. The fee will be $5.00 to help cover food so come hungry. The projects are free.
The next event is July 31st and that is our Christmas In July card event. We will be doing this at Friendlys in Colchester in their back room at 1230. This location works out pretty well. Details to come.
August 27th we have another Card buffet at Friendlys in Colchester at 1230

Hello,
    Alaska was a fabulous vacation, I always love being spoiled on a cruise. Now on to new things. I am going to attempt once again to regularly update on my blog so please spread the word and pass the blog link around to all your friends. I am hoping to get some other people to help out with postings as well just so you have some new ideas regularly.
    First off, I'd like to mention all of the upcoming events that I have scheduled so far. I have a card buffet on June 18th at Friendlys in Colchester at 1230 and another one on the 26th same place and time. If you want more info on either event, Please email me.
    Next I have my customer appreciation event date scheduled, that will be on July 10th At Hinesburg Elementary School at 1230. I hope that lots of you can make it. Also, if you are interested in attending please email me.

Hello Everyone,
I have a card buffet scheduled for Saturday May 14th at 1:00, at Robinsons Elementary School in Starksboro. Its just off Route 116 about 10 minutes outside of Hinesburg. Call me for more info or email me.
The fee is $5.00 and $2.00 per card and you choose which ones you want to do and how many of each. Its fun. come and join us.

I know this is a little late but here is a photo of my goodies from convention, THe reason I'm just now posting it is that the tote in the photo will be a great award offer coming soon. Email me for more information. The tote has a laptop bag in it(the laptop is not an upcoming award, just the tote) , just in case you are wondering what is in there. Next is my swaps for convention, The Hawaiin one is my own creation and the friends are flowers that never fade one is my own creation. The other two, Gwen designed, I changed the because I care but I kept the other one the way she designed it. I also had some 3-D swaps but those I didnt get a photo of before they were gone. Maybe I can get Kealey to make me some more so I can post that too. Over all though, we had a great time. The ride home was not fun.

Hi again, I'm back from convention, Had lots of issues at convention and wasnt able to post. Computer issues. Its ok though, I still had lots of fun and have lots to share. I also, shipped everything home so I didnt have to lug it and I just got it and paw'd through it. I will be posting pics soon. I have been busy since I got back from Hampton which immediately followed convention. Convention I can never say enough about, This is the event which revives me for the year and pumps me up with ideas, and knowledge. I love it. My downline Kealey was not able to come with me :-( and I do not like to travel alone, SO My downline Gwen came in Kealey's place. WE had so much fun. Next time I hope we can all go. I think we would definitely have a blast with the 3 of us, or even more of my downline too.
Anyway, I was recognized on stage for 3 things, $20,000 in Sales for the year, CRUISE to Alaska Earned and Leadership. It was nice. The make n take helper thing went well. The ride home however was not so nice, I was SICK. During convention I felt a little under the weather but on the plane was the worst. Nothing like being sick on a plane, EMBARRASING moments that I wont talk about. LOL.
I survived though and felt better by the time we headed to HAMPTON BEACH for a much needed break from home for Slim and I. We relaxed and had fun. I read a full book and a half of another.

Yes!!!! I did it. I should say, we did it because I couldnt do it without the help of my downline and my customers/hostesses. Thanks to everyone who attended the Card Buffet on Sunday. I was impressed that it went so well, I couldnt have done it without all of you and of course Gwen. I will be doing my customer appreciation event on July 10th and then the next event on August 7th. Emails will go out soon for the customer appreciation event. I have one more promotion in the works and then I'm on this Alaskan Cruise so Hold on to your seats because once I earn it I will celebrate.

I want to apologize for being out of touch for so long. SO, I'm going to try to be better from here on. I can't post my own projects as of now because I don't create much of my own stuff and the things that I am making on my own will be my swaps for convention so if I make something that I'm not swapping then I'll post it before but otherwise you may not see much until after convention.
I am also trying to use my SU website more so I've been playing with that quite a bit too. Someday I will learn how to link the two through the SU website and then its all accessible there.

Hello everyone, I know I was going to post a blog candy but so much has happened. I apologize for not doing that sooner. I am hoping to get things back to normal this week and post that as promised. I am very sad to say that I have been very busy with the loss of my Dear Mother. Mom and I were very close as she was with our whole family. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with.
MOM had a major stroke on Friday October 9th. I was on my way to a party when I got the call. I turned around and went back to get Slim and he drove me to the St Albans Hospital where she was in serious condition. The stroke took out her left side this time, This was her second stroke (The first one was her right side 3 years ago). She was not able to speak this time and I was extremely scared, I started to run away from her bed, crying when the nurse stopped me, Mom wanted me, I went back to her side, I said, I love you my mommy(this was something I always said to her and she returned with I love you my baby and my daughter and I do the same thing), after I said that, she couldnt say it all but she did get the words I love you out. Then my sister and her exchanged I love you's too. Those were pretty much the last words she said. My sister and I are the only 2 girls out of 9 kids. For us these I LOVE YOU'S were special.

Because she lost her speech and swallowing abilities she did not want to be intubated and had an advanced directive saying so, therefore there was nothing more for anyone to do. Her heart was racing and her breathing was uncontrolled.

She passed away on October 14th...

Anyway, I felt I should come on finally and explain just in case some of you readers didnt hear through the grapevine or by my emails. Mom is Resting In Peace now and is fulfilling her final dream now of doing her final destiny of being one of Gods Angels. Mom loved angels and I'm absolutely sure that she is up there amongst all the other angels and will be accepted with open arms. Mom was loved by all that knew her. She had a filled room for her last week in the hospital and at the wake and funeral. Not too many dry eyes in the house. Below I am attaching a photo of me, my Son Scott, daughter Kayla and my mom, Also One of my mom and dad together. Mom still had her natural color hair at age 78, she had bits of gray but not much. Thanks for all your patience and God be with all of you and your families. I LOVE MY MOMMY.........

WOW, Time has flown by, I can't believe its been a whole year since I started this blog. I will post a blog candy giveaway and maybe just 2 of them, DID you see how many hits I have....12,000. I'm impressed. I'll have to keep better watch because it jumped so quickly. I will be posting more often soon so keep coming back. Its been crazy for me trying to keep up with all this workshop, club, event and class stuff on top of my full time job. I'm getting some help now and then so it should be easier to post. I started this blog last September with the intentions of trying it to see how well I could keep up with it and it wasn't too bad for my first year. Though I didnt get to post as much or as often as I'd like, I'm learning. Things are getting busier with my business so I will be posting more events and projects from now on.

Hello everyone, Coming up is a card class that you wont want to miss out on. I will be doing a Card Buffet with my Friend Gwen, She and I will be meeting soon to decide on the logistics and more will be posted then, Please save the date for this event. Its November 7th. This event will be exactly what it says, a card buffet. You will pay a Small fee of $5.00 admission (this price will include food of some sort), then for your first 3 cards you will pay $5.00 and then every card you make or buy the supplies for after that will be only $2.00 each. We are hoping to have this work as a stop and shop kind of event so it will run anywhere from 11-3. You will have 20 wonderful cards to choose from and you pick and choose. If you decide to buy them all, you can certainly choose them all. You could do the stamping and take it with you to put together. As we run out of one card, we will not be making more so be sure to make the ones you love most first. More to come later.

Hello everyone, I am home and had a great time. The long overnight flight home was dreadful. We had a screaming 14 month old boy in the row in front of us so we got very little sleep but it was all worth it. I LOVE convention. It perks me up year after year and gets me going. I want to take this time to thank you all for your support in my business. Without all of you, I could not do this. I love what I do though and you can too. We have been challenged as a convention team to recruit 3000 and when we do that by August 31st we (convention goers) get the My Digital Studio for FREE. I'm sure we wont have a problem with that. All we have to do is recruit 1 person each. Of course some won't recruit any so some of us that do want to recruit will have to recruit more. SO, Stampin Up has their kit special running right now and I'd like to add to that special for anyone that joins my team. Join Stampin Up before August 31st and I'll throw in 1 package each of in color card stock assorted 8 1/2 x 11 and 12x12(non textured). Plus when you sell your first 1,000 which will then promote you to senior associate I will give you $30.00 pick your own Stampin Up product, through me. Long Day

Hello everyone, Just wanted to stop in to tell you all that it is official, I have officially earned the cruise. All the orders are in and I'm on the ship. Phew. Well, not till April but at least I'm in. I'm very excited. I owe it all to all of you, My customers. Thank you so much for your help in earning this cruise. I'll tell you, It isn't easy. Its very hard to keep up and succeed at this. Working a full time job and selling Stampin Up and preparing for all those workshops and forgetting things now and then, Its hard to keep it going. Life is crazy when you are a business person. I dont know how Shelli Gardner does it. Anyway, Today was the day that I got the status page on the final earning of the cruise. Then my SAM (Service Account Manager) at Stampin Up, created this cute little video with all of the other SAM's there. It was so cute, I'll see if I can share it with you. Not sure if thats ok or not.
I had a long day today and a long week. Wednesday I took Scotty over night, we went to the movies and then strawberry picking on Thursday, and then last night I stayed up late keying my orders and then today I had to take my Baby Girl(19 years old), Kayla in for Surgery. She had to have all four wisdom teeth out and it was a long day and a rough day for both of us. We laughed and cried together. It was tiring. Then I had a scrapbooking party afterwards and I of course thought about her all the time. Anyway, its over and her teeth are gone and now she should be ok in a few days. They said about 4 days before things are normal for her again.
Thanks again for all your help in earning the cruise. I truly appreciate it.
Have a good weekend everyone. I'm taking Saturday off and we are going strawberry picking and make Strawberry Jam. HMM, Maybe I'll make a gift holder for the jam. HMM Good idea.....

Here is the latest photos taken today of my grandkids. Scotty is 4 and Kylie is 1. Grampy Slim and I bought them the matching purple outfits when we were in Hawaii. I told them that I wanted them to have their next pictures done in them. Scotty said All Right Grammy.

While we were looking at the photos he says, Grammy can I come home with you tonight. It broke my heart to say no, not today. Wednesday though, I'm coming to get you and we are going to see the movie UP and then on Thursday we are going strawberry picking. He said. All Right Grammy. I LOVE THAT BOY. I have recently seen on another blog a great idea so I thought I'd go ahead even though I have a special running right now and post one to start with my first order on June 1st. Mothers Day Card using Manhatten Flowers Embossing folder

I know, I know, You are shocked. 2 posts at once. LOL. I dont post often enough so you dont expect 2 of them in one night.

I was playing around with this new manhatten flowers embossing folder and the Movers and Shapers Curly Label die and this is what I came up with.
I rubbed the Craft white on the embossing folder, on the side that would come out on top, and ran it through the big shot and it put the ink in the right places. I dont know if you can see it in the picture but I love the effect. If you click on the photo you can actually see the white ink better.

Then of course I had to use the new eyelet border punch and add a little more to it, then the scallop oval punch as well. I love that, THANK YOU STAMPIN UP.

Matchbox Bigz XL Die

I like this cute little box that this new die in the mini makes. I made 6 of them all within about a half hour. Its so easy to do and only 1 piece of sticky strip was needed. If you like this box, ask me about it and I'll tell you how you can make your own.

I am doing this Crazy for Cupcakes Class(courtesy of Andrea Walford) on Sunday April 26 at 1:00 at Hinesburg United Church, if you are interested in attending be sure I know it before hand. I would need to cut for you. I will be cutting on Saturday to finish up so call or email me. If you are interested in purchasing the class even though you can't make it, I will cut everything you would just have to put it together. Full directions would come with it. Only thing that wouldnt is the stamp sets and ink pads, maybe a few other accessories too.

Tuesday We had a sceduled ATV ride, We got covered in mud but, Slim and Ashley got it worse because they were behind me and I was playing Super Mario. LOL. It was so much fun. It was raining so we had to wear rain ponchos but for what they were worth, We still got Drenched. LOL. Oh what fun it was though. We rode up to some waterfalls, oh my how beautiful that was.

Stampin Up gifts

Day 1 we got 2 gifts in one because we were late getting there, Mine came on Monday instead of Sunday. It was a great surprise, 2 Non alcoholic Lava flow drinks(I had plenty of Alcohol ones later on too)(LOL) and these two drink holders were full of beads and flowers to take home.

Then for my first spin of the prize wheel, I won a grab bag which had the ribbon in it.
I came back to the room from posting on my blog and there was our bags, His and hers bags for Slim and I.

This was actually on our first day though so we had day 1 and day 2 gifts on the same day. Slim was gone to get our Rental car so Ashley(my niece) and I found the bags when we got back. I ordered up room service and had Chicken noodle soup that cost 12.00 for a bowl. LOL. It was good and I needed it but WOW. Expensive. It made me feel better to eat it but it hurt to pay for it. LOL. Ok so Day 2 for me was another gift which is my 3rd gift and my second spin for my spin I won a package of Clips

and For my gift back at the room was a gift that was wrapped in leaves and it was a goodie bag full of snacks.

Another treat was our Make n Take Basket, What a cute way to get them. I can't show you the stamp set because it will be a new release in our new upcoming catalog and I am not allowed to show you

Plus our Shirts that we purchased upon registering for our trip. Slim and I bought the Hawaiin Shirts which we picked up on day 2 for us as well.
Day 3 I spun the prize wheel again and got Horray Hardware and a magnet. We also had Share night which we got more gifts...A Package of Clips, Package of Designer paper and a rub on that says Stampin' Up Island Girl on it.

Later on there was my next gift....A Red Sarong to wear or use as a tablecloth.

Day 4 and final spin day was Summer Sun Corduroy Buttons. Then we had our Luau which was fabulous and upon returning to our room was a gorgeous Aloha Necklace for me. How exciting it all was.

Home From Hawaii

Hello everyone,
Well, Our trip home was much better than the trip there but it felt longer home then it did there because we wanted to stay there. LOL. Who wouldn't? The trip was incredible.
I was sick on the way there (Puking Sick, probably flu), and then I hurt my foot on the ATV trip but it was worth it and I hobbled around the whole week after hurting it. Then I caught a cold on the ATV trip too but we still kept going. We swam in the manmade beach and watched the dolphins and still did the parasailing. It was incredible. I will have plenty of pictures to share later. I was so tired getting in that I unpacked, took some medicine and went to bed, slept 12 hours and now I'm still a little wiped out but I'm HOME. My dad and my cat both greeted us at home. They missed us.
Upon arrival, Slim, Ashley and I were greeted by Shellie Gardner(Co-Founder of Stampin Up) as soon as we got off our shuttle. She walked over and greeted us with a hug and that was the best part of the whole trip there. She was so sweet to have taken the time out to greet us knowing that we had already missed the first day of events there. She was on her way to lunch but stopped to greet us and we thought that was so great of her.
Anyway, I have to go get me some caffeine and I'll be back later to post some awesome pictures.
Thank you all for Helping me to earn this fabulous trip. I am on pace for earning the Cruise and this would be my first Cruise Ever so I'd love to earn it, but if I dont then I'm thankful for earning Hawaii.

Hello everyone, Sorry for the delay but we had complications getting to Hawaii and this is my first chance to log on to the internet to post. We are having fun now that we are here and I'm over being sick, UGH. It was a horrible airline experience but anyway, on to the reason for this post......THE SPECIAL YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.....

Hello everyone. Ok so now I'm counting down the days to leave for Hawaii. We have 8 days left. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!! I can not wait. I'm so excited to be going on my very first Stampin UP incentive trip. ALL EXPENSES PAID. WOW.
Anyway, I just logged onto my website and found that Stampin Up has announced the 3 easy pay plan to join now. IF you are at all interested and would like to do this, Email me right away. It can't wait until I get back from Hawaii if you want to take advantage of the kit sale. Hello everyone, We had a great time at the class on Sunday. I have set the next class date for April 26th at 1:00 I will email out the details for that class later on. With Hawaii coming up and all I can't squeeze one in until April and the hall only had 2 dates available that I had open so thats where we are at.

I have something new to share. My grandkids and I went to have our photo done in a Grammy and Me session. It was so much fun. Scotty said in one that this was the Stuart Little pose for him. That is the one with him standing by the 4. just so you know which one he was talking about. It was cute. Kylie was a hoot as well. They wanted me to put her on the black cloth and as soon as I put her down She started crawling away, but they got her picture.

Anyway, Enjoy. I have some photos of projects coming soon, At least once more before I leave for Hawaii.

Excitement is in the air

Look What I got in the Mail on Saturday. I didnt want to post everything all on the same day so I held on to these. I am very excited and can't wait now. These are my tickets and letter from Stampin Up for My Hawaii Incentive Trip. My niece is going with Slim & I and she is counting the days but she got so excited she miscalculated by 10 days and got me thinking it was closer. She said we had 39 days and we actually had 49 days but actually now its 45 That was 4 days ago.

I am also adding a picture of My daughter(Kayla)and I from my last Trip to Hawaii in 2007, That trip We paid for, It was Kayla's High School Graduation Gift along with $200 in spending money, she got spoiled. She was a little stinker for most of the trip but I love this picture of her and I. All In all it was a fun trip and I'm really excited to go back. Especially for free. Ok so I also added a photo of Slim, Kayla and I lounging after an awesome dinner and I can't for the life of me remember the name of the restaurant but It was awesome. Kayla is holding a Virgin Strawberrry Daquiri, She was loving that but can't wait until it doesnt have to be Virgin. LOL.

Gift for a Friend

Here is a gift bag, I made this and one other for a couple friends of mine. Gwen and Terri. Gwen already has hers and I think she liked the bag and so did others when she opened it. Terri is getting hers tomorrow and I'm not really posting this until after she gets it in case she comes on my blog tonight. LOL. Can't have her seeing her gift before she gets it. I used the rub ons on a bag that I bought from Avon. I dont know if they sell them anymore but I'm sure you can find them somewhere. Anyway, I hope you like it, I hope she likes it and now I'm tired and going to bed. LOL.

projects I've been working on

Hello again, and here is a couple gorgeous cards I have been working on and I just couldnt decide which way I liked it best. So, I'm posting them both and you can leave a comment and let me know which one you like best.

The products I used are the Big Shot and Beautiful Butterflies(Stampin Up exclusive die), Priceless stamp set and Upsy Daisy Stamp set, White craft ink and Irridescent Ice, Pink pirouette and Riding Hood Red papers and ribbons. Key tag punch, Basic Brown ink and Gold Brads. I think thats everything. The original card that inspired me was similar and I dont remember who I saw it from, SORRY. All I know is the initials are K V. I did change quite a bit so its really not much like hers but similar.

On the Riding Hood Red One I burned the Irridescent ice because for some reason it wasn't melting as good. I dont know why but its still very pretty.

Hello again and now I have another photo of my grandbabies to show you. This was taken on New Years Eve. They are always so happy to be with Grammy and Grampy Slim. Its fun to have them too. But Oh was I tired when it came time to take the little one home.
So, my grandson in case you haven't seen my earlier photos is Scotty Jr. and My granddaughter is Kylie Jean. Her and I have the same middle name. They are just so cute in these photos that I had to share.
